Illusion- something that deceives by producing a false or misleading impression of reality.
Reality- the state or quality of being real.
resemblance to what is real.
What is real? What is fake?
When people talk about seeing things that aren't "real" we call them hallucinations
It was only on illusion........................
But to that ONE person
It can be REALITY because that is what they see in front of them
So who is right? That ONE person or Everyone else?
how can we define reality?
Lets take Calvin and Hobes (the comic book)
To Calvin, Hobes is very real a friend
To every one else Hobes is just a stuffed animal
but when the reader sees things from Calvin's point of view isn't Hobes more than just a stuffed animal? isn't hobes an actually friend that Calvin plays with? so wouldnt that fact make Hobes Calvin's friend?
In that aspect isn't hobes real?
but then the rest of the world sees Hobes as "just a stuffed animal"
people make up things that aren't "real because they need them or they can't live with the truth?
How many times do we ourselves catch ourselves in a false DISTORTION of reality?
There are soo many twists to the truth in everything we are presented with:
We give off a fake reality of ourselves in front of other ppl
OR are they showing another aspect to themselves?
Sometimes Even our own feelings deceive us. " I love you" is a line that i think is taken too lightly in today's society. Just because you have a strong attraction to someone doesn't mean that you are "in love" Even if you are close with that person
Many times we get a false image of love from the media....
I mean why the high divorce rate? isn't love supposed to last forever?
Love is something I don't understand too well
but something i do understand about it is this:
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

HOW ARE WE ABLE TO TELL WHAT IS REAL?
What is true?
Just because the majority of people see something as reality does that make it reality?
In this world most people believe that "All matter is made of particle too tiny to see called atoms"
HAve they ever seen atoms? NO
Then how do you know its real?

Well you can see the properties of how atoms work
ie. water dissolves sugar because of the polar nature of the molecule
ICe is less dense than water because of the hydrogen bonds created in water
How about things like LOVE, HOPE, FAITH
How do you know these things exist?
Maybe they actually don't exist maybe these are just Illusions we as ppl made up.......
or is it?
We can SEE LOVE
WE can see Hope
WE can SEE Faith in the lives of people
We see how someone still believes in the best even when it seems like there is nothing going for them
We can see how people just believe in things like they are real when there is no physical evidence that it exists
We can also sooo how people are able to sacrifice their good for the good of others despite the fact that we all look out for only ourselves
NOW lets take GOD
there are a lot of godz
soo is GOD just an ILLUSION or is he/she/it a REALITY
if we take the theory that reality is what the majority of ppl believe in...then God does exist
However at one point the whole world believed that the WORLD WAS FLAT
Did it make it Flat?
NO the fact remains that it is indeed a sphere as was proved later on
SO there is only ONE REALITY ONE TRUTH
The question now is:
Out of all the different ideas out there....
Which one is the TRUTH
and what is just an ILLUSION
